CAMPBELL David Bruce (1887-1918) Born in Dundee. In loving memory of our great uncle David, who died in WW1, serving his country. Son of John Campbell and Jane Morrison Bruce Campbell. Killed in action 100 years ago, on May 27, 1918, age 30, while serving in Royal Engineers 490th Field Coy. Service No: 404318. Remembered with honour at Sissonne British Cemetery, Northern France. Grave Reference: K.7. Brother of Margaret Vannet Campbell, Donald Bruce Campbell and Frederick Roberts Campbell. Half-brother of William, Sarah, John, James, Annie, Mary, Helen, Archibald and Thomas Campbell.-Inserted on behalf of the Wilson, Campbell and Russell families.
