We spoke about this day Mum, A party we were planning, But you fought so much to stay with us, But life took you, that was damning. You did not want to leave your bairns, To prevent us from hurting, But Mum it was not you, It was your heart that stopped beating. Until the 12th of never Mum, Who knows how long that will take, We will run to you with open arms, Only then our hearts won't break.
