Mc ELHANEY Agnes (Stewart) Mc Elhaney, of Torrington, Wyoming, U. S. A., passed at Regional West Medical Center, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, after a short battle with cancer. Agnes was born in Kincraig, Brechin, Scotland, on February 27, 1942, to Frank and Mary (Simpson) Stewart. She married U. S. Navy Petty Officer, James Mc Elhaney, at Logie Pert, on October 20, 1962, and travelled with him to his various duty stations until he retired to Wyoming, in 1983. Agnes leaves behind her husband James, daughters Virginia (Michael) Lay, Heather Pugsley and Margaret (Tim) Hendrickson, all residing in Torrington, Wyoming. She also leaves grandsons J. L. Hendrickson and Thomas Lay, great-granddaughter Lillith Hendrickson and great-grandson Timothy Hendrickson, sisters Helen, of Forfar, Mary of Dunkeld, Margaret of Ohio, U. S. A., and Frances of Inverness, as well as brother John (Morag) of Carnoustie and sister-in-law Mary Stewart, of Brechin. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth and Frank. In accordance with her wishes Agnes was cremated and there were no services.
