GORDON On August 26, 2014, at home, in Kirkcaldy, Ian Farquharson, aged 80 years, peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, Ian was Ann's loved and loving husband and her best friend for 56 years, the proud, loving father of Deirdre (Melbourne) and Diarmaid (Adelaide), respected and loved father-in-law of Andrew and the adored, fun loving, mischievous grandbad of Caitlin, Callum and Kenna. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Scotland and Australia, and by the friends he made and pupils he taught in Scotland, Uganda, Malaysia and Vanuatu. His wish was for a small private funeral.
