CARRICK Peacefully, at home in Monifieth, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, Vera Carrick (nee Simpson), in her 97th year, (formerly of Bearsden), much loved and loving mother of Jamie, Linda, Moya and Vivien, cherished granny of Jim, Vince, Katriona, Fiona, Sarah, Hayley and Gavin, delighted great-gran of Jesiah and Anneliese. Funeral service in Monifieth Parish Church, Panmure Building on Monday, October 12, at 1.15 p.m., thereafter in Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim at 2.30 p.m., all family and friends are respectfully invited. At Vera's own request, no flowers, please, but if you wish, donations for the British Red Cross Society or the British Heart Foundation.
