Peacefully, at Burnside Nursing Home, Laurencekirk, on Saturday, January 9, 2016, Ian, aged 94 years, beloved husband of Winnie, for 68 years, loving dad to Kathleen and father-in-law of the late Chris, devoted grandad to Fiona and Alan, David and Morag, special great-grandad to Lauren, Amy, Daniel and Mathew, a dear brother and brother-in-law. Ian will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel) on Monday, January 18, at 2.40 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if so desired, will be gratefully accepted at the chapel exit for Friends of Burnside.
