MILLER Peacefully, after a short illness, Ian Lewis Miller, aged 89 years, residing in Edinburgh, predeceased by his parents, George Bell Miller and Margaret Miller (Warnes) and by his brother Hugh (George) Stevens Miller. Ian was a professional musician who played the drums in many dance bands in the 1940's and visited over a hundred ports as a musician on the cruise ships, retiring in 1981. He is survived by his nephew George Bell Miller and his niece Elizabeth (Lissa) Riley Miller. Funeral service to be held at Warriston Crematorium Cloister Chapel, Edinburgh, at 10.30 a.m, on Friday, May 13, Flowers, if desired, to McKenzie & Millar Funeral Directors, 649 Ferry Road, Edinburgh.
