FRASER Robert (Bert) passed away peacefully, on May 10, 2016, at the age of 91. Bert was born and lived in Dundee until he emigrated with his family to Ottawa, Canada, in 1957, beloved husband of the late Ella (nee Galloway), he is survived by his children, Duncan (Jocelyne Laframboise), Bruce (Sharon Campbell) and Heather Watson (Randy), his cherished granddaughter, Meghan Watson and his sisters- in-law, Chris and Joyce Fraser and Violet Bowman, of Dundee. Predeceased by his sisters, Phyllis and Helen, and brothers, Ken and Ron Fraser. As a young man, Bert played football for the Ashdale Boys Team and Anchorage F. C. He captained the Scottish Junior National Team against Ireland at Belfast and then played professionally with the Lochee Harp F. C., Glasgow Celtic F. C., Edinburgh Hearts F. C., Northwich Victoria F. C. (England), St Johnstone F. C. (Perth) and Montrose F. C. An avid golfer into his late 80's, Bert was a member of the Hylands Golf Club, where he achieved his lifelong dream of a hole-in-one. He was a long time employee of Computing Devices, Canada, and the Canada Revenue Agency. Bert will be greatly missed by all.
