GORRIE (Lancaster). Peacefully, at home in Dundee, on Friday, August 26, 2016, Rachel, aged 35 years, adored and much loved wife of Colin, cherished daughter of Heather and Alex, loving stepdaughter of Jackie, very much loved daughter-in-law of Margaret and Colin, also a very much loved sister of Rebecca, Russell and Josh, also a dear sister-in-law, auntie and a good and loving friend to many. Funeral service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bingham Terrace, Dundee, on Monday, September 5, at 11.30 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter at Birkhill Cemetery, at 12.30 p.m. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be given at the church in aid of Maggie's Centre.

We first met at my place of work when you were a student nurse. I remember very quickly thinking what a lovely girl you were and it went from that to discovering later that you were also kind, caring, funny, always smiling and enjoying life despite what it threw at you. I have to say you were such an inspiration and I'm so glad that we met. You will forever be missed and in my thoughts. Fly high beautiful angel, remember to look in on me from time to time.
