GARLAND Dorothy Helen (nee Baird) passed, peacefully, at Ninewells Hospital, on May 5, 2017, aged 94 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved son, Ian Dereck in 1987 and her loving husband, George (ex DC Thomson) in 1988, she was an active member of the Wrens Association, enjoyed knitting for the Dorcas Church Group and looked forward to her annual holiday in the sunshine, which she managed until two years ago. Dorothy wished for a private funeral. She will be missed by her friends, neighbours and her remaining family.
