BRADFORD William Geoffrey Bradford died in the Fordmill Care Home, Montrose, on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, of old age, the last 4 years of which were in the excellent care of the home. A lifelong reporter for D. C. Thomson, his love of words endured until the end. aged 96?, Bill was the beloved father of Clare, Nick and Jill, proud of his descendant families in Britain and the U. S. A. The funeral will be held at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Thursday, August 17, at 10.30 a.m., to which all are welcome. No flowers, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made at the Crematorium door towards Fordmill Res-idents' Comfort Fund.
