SHAW Ina and the family of the late John would like to thank all who sent cards, letters and for the telephone calls, special thanks to staff at Ward 3 and 4 in P.R.I. and Blairgowrie Community Hospital, to all the carers who cared for John. Thanks also to Craig Finlayson for his support over the years, to Kevin of W. McNaughton Funeral Directors for his professional help and assistance. Finally, thank you to all who came to pay their last respects at the church and graveside.

So sorry to hear from my cousin Evelyn of John's passing. He was such a nice jovial kindly man and we always loved seeing him and you when visiting from Canada. Our condolences are with you and all your family.
We hope to be over in Scotland visiting family this summer so will hopefully see you when we're in the area.
Although we weren't directly related it was very unusual that he and our Mum Quita had the same grandfather and great-grandfather. He and yourself were always good friends to and kept an eye on our Mum and we'll never forget that. (not sure if I got that quite right , but I'm sure Ina will correct me)
