OGILVIE Peacefully, at Craigie House Care Home, Crossgates, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Cathie, aged 88 years, devoted wife of the late Willie, loving mother to Christine, Alan and Linda, loving mother-in-law, granny, nana and sister, who will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held at Inverkeithing Parish Church on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 11 a.m., thereafter to Hillend Cemetery, arriving at 11.45 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

We extend condolences to Christine, Alan and Linda and their family members on the passing of your wonderful Mum. Through our friendship with Christine, Doug and I had the privilege of getting to know Cathie and spending time with her, both when we visited Scotland and when she visited Canada to see Christine. We kept in touch each year at Christmas and we always enjoyed the Scottish calendars that she sent us every year. We will always cherish the lovely wedding gift she and your Dad gave us, placemats that we still use on special occasions. I still have 2 amazing wool sweaters that she knit for me in the late 1980’s. They are works of art, still very beautiful and warm and cozy! We will always remember the great hospitality which she and your Dad showed us during our visits to Scotland. We will all miss her but these memories of her do provide some comfort at this sad time.
