LAIRD John (known as Iain) Petrie, died, peacefully, at Tigh-na-Muirn Care Home, Monifieth, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, aged 90. Iain will be fondly missed by friends. Iain was a keen amateur sailor for most of his life and was a long standing member of Royal Tay Yacht Club. To celebrate his life and times, his friends intend to have a lunch at the Royal Tay Yacht Club, on Sunday, February 4, to which all friends are welcome. It is asked that anyone wishing to attend this event, contact the Yacht Club before January 29.
