BREWSTER Peacefully, at his home, on Monday, February 19, 2018, John Paterson, aged 66 years, farmer at Easter Denoon, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Jane, their four sons, David, James, Robert and Andrew, dear father-in-law of Lorraine, Kathleen and Katie and a very proud papa. A private family cremation will take place at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, at 10.30 a.m., followed by a service of celebration at Glamis Kirk on Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m., to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if so desired, may be made at the church for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland and the Tayside Mountain Rescue Team.

Canada seemed very far away today and we are so sorry we couldn't be there for you. Had a good weep and a few laughs at the beautiful eulogy. A truly good person and an example to live by. Sending much love to you all. We're so very sorry, but proud to have known John and had the privilege to call him an Uncle. From Rosie, Justin, and wee Rachel xxx
