THORNTON Very suddenly and unexpectedly, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Saturday, March 9, 2019, after a brief illness, Alison (Ali), dearly loved partner, best friend and soulmate of Ian, cherished daughter of Sandy and Pat (Carnoustie), much loved sister of Chris and good friend to many. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium, on Wednesday, March 20, at 3.30 p.m., to which all friends are warmly invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations in aid Fife Rottweiler Rescue may be made at the Crematorium, if desired.

Ali, A dear friend who I will always remember. I never saw you for many years and never stopped thinking of you. Our friendship was one in a million and we spent many great times together. I will cherish our friendship forever. Until we meet again. Look after Daisy for me xxx
