Dear John Jnr. My sincere condolences for the loss of your father. I want to thank you for sharing this memory you wrote about him with us; I loved how you depicted him, in a way that was sincere, realistic and also full of affection. He will always be in my heart, from the first moment I met him back in the early 90’s (I guess…more or less around those years) we naturally almost had this kind of grandpa - grandson relation, it was a nice thing. A hug from Filippo Brancoli Pantera

My father enjoyed and lived life to the full; a long, productive and interesting life based on hard work, and a strong character with cogent values and ideas on social justice and politics. I am certain that he would in particular want to be remembered as a family man; an artist and skilled painter, a highly competent builder covering every aspect of house building and administration. He always got the job finished efficiently and to the very highest standard – just look at the copy of the his painting of ‘Monarch Of The Glen’ in the uploaded photos and be amazed. John Sheldon Jnr.
