If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
I would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why
My heart still aches with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
But now I know you want me
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay

I am standing on the seashore, a ship sails in the morning breeze and starts for the ocean.
He is an object of strength and I stand watching him till at last he fades on the horizon and someone at my side says: "He is gone."
Gone!
Gone Where?
Gone from my sight that is all.
He is just as large in the masts, hull and spars as he was when I saw him, and just as able to bear his load of living freight to its destination.
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in him, and just at the moment when someone at my side says,
"He is gone"
there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout:
"There he comes!"
Until we meet again Uncle Bryan ... with love ... your niece and nephew Karen & Brian Donnelly...
