ROSE Lt Col Roland Ireland Rose TD, died peacefully, on Sunday, May 9, 2021, aged 85 years, after a short illness, Lt Col Rose (known as Rosie), was a much respected, long serving member of the Black Watch family, husband to Maureen (Mary), who died 2020, father to Maureen, grandad to Mike, John and Lewis and great-grandad to Jaxon, Jed, JJ, Harry, Charlie, Mia, Sofia and Isabella. He was a loyal and true friend to many, he left his mark on all that knew him and will be sorely missed. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will be held at Dundee Crematorium. Following the service there will be a gathering at the Black Watch Club, Dundee, at 10.30 a.m., where numbers will be more flexible. Family flowers only, please, but there will be an opportunity to make a donation in lieu of flowers at the Black Watch Club.
