FERRIER (Anstruther) Following excellent care in Ward 5, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, after a long illness, met with great courage and good humour, on Saturday, June 12, 2021, Angus Ferrier QFSM (Gus), aged 76 years, best friend and loving husband of Margaret (nee Anderson), adored dad to Stephen and Susan and cherished father-in-law to Andrew, a real hands on grandad to Steven, Michael, Paul and Shannyn, proud great-grandad to Lexii, Cole, Ryan and Eilidh. Gus dedicated 31 years to the Anstruther Fire Service and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service at Anstruther Cemetery, on Thursday, June 24, at 1.30 p.m., friends may show their respects and make a guard of honour en route and at the cemetery. Cortege leaving from Harbourlea at 1 p.m., by Burnside Terrace, Mayview Road to Fire Station and onto the cemetery by School Green. Please observe social distancing.
