HENDRY Peacefully, at his home, Cardney Estate, after a long illness, bravely borne, with great courage and dignity, in the presence of his loving family, on Thursday, February 26, 2015, David, aged 53 years, non-executive Chairman and former Managing Director of The Co-operative Funeralcare, incorporating D. B. Hendry, Kilbirnie, much loved dad of Clair and Katriona, father-in-law to Lewis and Piotr, a devoted papa of Brody and Iona, a loving son of David and Mary, also a dear brother of Aileen. David was much loved by Laura and will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Dunkeld Cathedral on Tuesday, March 3, at 12.30 p.m., interment thereafter at Cardney Estate, Butterstone, Dunkeld, to which all friends are respectfully invited. At David's request shooting Tweeds may be worn. Flowers welcome and donations, if so desired, to cancer research.
