BROWN (Newtyle) James Robbie Brown (Jim), passed away, suddenly, but peacefully, at home, on December 9, 2022, much loved husband of Nan, father of Sheila, James, Eric and the late Aileen, father-in-law of Peter, Nick and Clare and grandad of six grandchildren (ex D.C. Thomson, Press Room, P.M. Lodge Glamis, PZ RAC 19. Widely known in the Scottish traditional music scene and former member of the Foundry Bar Band). Funeral service will take place at Glamis Church, on Wednesday, December 21, at 1 p.m., and thereafter at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only, but donations, in lieu, to local charities.
