JONES Peacefully, at home with his family, in London, on Thursday, June 22, 2023, Professor Huw Jones, of Broughty Ferry and the University of Dundee, aged 85 years (previously Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Head of the Department of Geography at the University of Dundee), loving father of Gareth and Glyn and devoted grandad to Daniel and Euan, much loved father-in-law of Andrea and Anne-Marie. Huw will be sadly missed by family and friends. A celebration of Huw's life will take place on Friday, August 11, at 3 p.m., in the St Aidan's Centre, Brook Street, Broughty Ferry, DD5 2EB, followed by a reception in the Broughty Ferry Club, 5 St Vincent's Street, Broughty Ferry, DD5 2BB. All friends are cordially invited.
