DOUGHTY Suddenly, but very peacefully, on Sunday, March 31, 2024, Basil Keresforth Lake Doughty, 93 years, devoted husband of the late Mary Alexandra (Alix) Doughty (nee Murray), dearly beloved dad to Sue and Mike, much loved brother to Barbara Horrocks (nee Doughty) and the late Terry Doughty of Wormit, loving grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle (born in Sheffield and lived in Newport on Tay, attending Bell Baxter High School, before moving to Northamptonshire). Funeral to be held in Brighton, on April 19, 2024. A true gentleman who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
