Thank you for my little thought, It gives me comfort when my heart does not, I close my eyes and try to sleep, And in my head my thought shall creep, It makes me smile when I am sad, A little thought of my mum and dad, What a busy place to be, In our head where thoughts run free, How easy it is to smile or cry, It comes in a thought you don't have to try, A thought is a gift we all take for granted, Like a seed that's just been planted,.
