FERGUSON Suddenly, but peacefully, at home in Edzell, after a long illness bravely borne, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, David (Ferg), aged 79 years, beloved husband of Janet, dearly loved dad of Jacqueline, loving son of the late Smith and Dora and a good friend to many. Funeral service, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, at Edzell Parish Church, on Thursday, August 28, at 11 a.m., thereafter to Edzell Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if desired, may be made at the church door, in aid of Macmillan nurses.

We are very sorry to learn of Ferg's passing.We had great times when we lived in Edzell in 1975 and particularly when Ferg and Len worked together at Balharrys Bar in Brechin.The Haggis suppers were great.
