THOMPSON Peacefully, at The Glens Nursing Home, Edzell, on Thursday, October 30, 2014, Joyce Bates (formerly of Inglis Court, Edzell), beloved wife of the late Charles, dearly loved mum of Richard and the late Ian and Peter, loved mother-in-law of Susan and the late Lesley, a much loved nannan of Jenny, Peter, Viki, Helen and Matthew, a loved g.g. and a loved sister-in-law of Ricky. Funeral service to which all friends are respectfully invited at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Brechin, on Thursday, November 6, at 12.30 p.m., and thereafter to Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, arriving 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only, please, but donations, in lieu to the Angus Macmillan Centre Stracathro Hospital may be made at the church and Crematorium.
