ORR Peacefully, at Kirk Lodge Nursing Home, Laurencekirk, on Friday, December 5, 2014, Stanley (formerly of Lousen Park and Park Avenue, Carnoustie), beloved husband of the late Margaret, a dear father of Martin and Susan, loving grandad of Katherine, Rachael, Courtney, Christopher and Rhys. His body was donated to medical research. A celebration of his life in Selwood Funeral Director's Service Rooms, 77-79 Dundee Street, Carnoustie, on Saturday, December 20, at 11 a.m., to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Dear Susan....
I am sure you remember me from my visit in 1978, forty years ago, when we walked around the streets of Carnoustie. You were only about 8 years old, and I was 29....a professional golfer staying at the Dalhousie with your folks. I loved them dearly, but sadly lost touch ten years ago or so. It was only last year that I learned they were gone. Today, with the Open on my mind, I thought I'd see what i could find online and found this obituary.
