FARQUHAR It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles D. P. Farquhar (Chic), O. B. E. (ex-Lord Provost of the City of Dundee), on Monday, September 11, 2017, at Carmichael House, Dundee, after a long illness, very bravely borne, a loving father to Sandra and Gail, devoted grandad to his eight grandchildren, treasured friend of Veronica and a great friend to many over the years. He will be very sadly missed by all. R. I. P. Reception of Remains in St Mary's R. C. Church, Lochee, on Wednesday, September 20, at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 a.m., interment thereafter in Balgay Cemetery, cortege arriving Glamis Road entrance at 11.30 approximately, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, for Carmichael House Comfort Fund may be given as you leave the church.
