MITCHELL Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, John Thomas, of Newport-on-Tay, aged 71 years, beloved husband of Joan, much loved dad of Alasdair, Fiona and Iain, dear papa to his grandchildren, loving brother of Kathleen and Reginald and cherished son of Kay. Cremation service private. John's family would like to invite all family and friends to a memorial gathering at Hill of Tarvit Mansion, Cupar, on Wednesday, November 29, at 2.30 p.m., to celebrate John's life.

We will always remember John from our happy care free days as students at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. It was good to see him again in 2009 at our reunion at the New Riccarton campus where old acquaintances were renewed, stories related and memories stirred.
