BREWSTER The Brewster Family would like to thank all relations and friends for their ongoing support following the death of John, for the many thoughtful cards, flowers, phone calls and visits; John's funeral on March 1, 2018, was well planned, nothing went to plan, yet it was a poignant and happy day with laughter and good memories; thanks to our drivers Bill Carr, Alf Birse and Billy Sweeten of David Stewart Limousines for safely getting us through snow drifts with courage and good humour, to the staff of Parkgrove Crematorium for their care and kindness, to the Strathmore Arms for providing respite from the snow with short notice, to those who made the services special with readings, music and thoughtful words, to Kay at Robbie and Nicoll for the for the fitting floral arrangement using gorse from Denoon; to Jim and Judith for providing delicious catering at Eassie Hall and all who helped make the day possible; appreciation must go to the paramedics, Forfar Police and Ravenswood Surgery for their care and support; special thanks to the Rev. Linda Stevens for her quiet way of putting all at ease during a difficult time, for the lovely services delivered with warmth and humour and to Kenny Ross of Strathmore for his professionalism and patience, both gifted people who have helped make this sad time bearable; the help of Charlie Brown and others locally who kept the roads open allowing so many to travel was much appreciated; the effort made by all to attend the funeral services was humbling, with £1447 raised at the church, further donations by those who could not attend were added which brought the total to £2000 and has been donated equally to Chest, Heart and Stroke at Stracathro and Tayside Mountain Rescue.
