SMITH Victor and Heather would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their support and the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers they have received since the sad and sudden loss of their brother, Douglas; a very sincere thanks to the paramedics and police officers for their kindness at such a difficult time; a special thanks also to Barbara Millar for conducting a most fitting tribute, Douglas' orchestral friends, fiddle soloist and piper who all played so beautifully throughout the service, James Carcary Funeral Directors for their guidance and care and to all who attended from near and far and kindly donated to the British Heart Foundation in memory of Douglas.
