DOWNIE Peacefully, at Perth Royal Infirmary, on Saturday, July 21, 2018, Alexander (Alex), aged 80, beloved husband of Sheena, dearly loved dad of David, much loved papa of Ross and Fiona and a dear father-in-law of Karen. Funeral on Tuesday, July 31, service in Dalrymple Parish Church, Dalrymple, Ayrshire, at 2 p.m. Interment thereafter in Dalrymple Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. A memorial service for Alex will take place in Perth North Church, Mill Street, Perth, on Friday, August 3, at 2 p.m., again, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but if desired, a retiring collection will be taken at both services for Alzheimer Scotland and Cancer Research U. K.
