STEWART Peacefully, at Strathmore Hospice, Forfar, on Sunday, February 3, 2019, Maureen (nee Sturrock), dearly beloved wife of the late David, much loved mum of Kenneth, Gordon and Michael, a very dear mother-in-law and a very proud granny and great-granny. Funeral service in St Margaret's Parish Church, Forfar, on Monday, February 18, at 1 p.m., thereafter to Forfar Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. No black ties, bright colours to be worn.

Sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I worked with Maureen when she was 21 and I was 15. She was a great friend and mentor to me and we had great fun together. I've been in Canada for almost 60 years but did visit her once when I think she had been around 60 and we had a great laugh together because of course we did not recognize each other. She was a great lady and I know that she left this world a better place. My sympathy to all her children, grandchildren and great children as I know that she will be sadly missed by you all. Diana
