MACFIE The Family of the late Deirdre (Dee) Christine would like to thank all friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy received during their sad loss; special thanks to Anne Bell who regularly took Dee's beloved dog Emily out for walks, also to Linda Graham of Elite Care who provided Dee with the loving, professional care she needed; extra thanks goes to Dee's oldest and dearest friends and colleagues, who were so supportive during her protracted illness; civil celebrant Fiona Liddell conducted the service with warmth and kindness, Andrea and her colleagues at Gibson of Tayport Funeral Directors were professional and courteous in carrying out Dee's final wishes; thanks also to the medical team of the Hospice Unit at the Adamson Hospital, Cupar, who provided essential palliative care at the end of Dee's journey. Dee requested family flowers only, but that donations, in lieu, to Breast Cancer Care could be made in her memory, a very generous total of £305 was gratefully received.
