DOWNIE Rena and the family of the late Tom Downie would like to thank all family and friends for the kind expression of sympathy, cards and flowers received in their recent sad loss; special thanks to Sturrock, Comb and Davidson for their professional and sensitive handling of Tom's funeral arrangements and to Jonathan Humphrey for conducting a lovely service; we would also like to say a big thank you to all the Nethergate doctors and district nurses who looked after Tom throughout his illness; finally, thank you to all who paid their last respects at Chalmers Ardler Church and Birkhill Cemetery.
