DOWDS Peacefully, on September 11, 2019, at Royal Victoria Hospital, with family at his side, Herbert (Bert) William Dowds, aged 85, of Dundee (formerly Leuchars), a much loved father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, entertainer and a dear friend to many. Will be sorely missed. Funeral service on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 2.30 p.m., at Dundee Crematorium. Immediate family flowers only, but donations may be made, to R. V. H., Ward 7, on leaving the Crematorium. Please feel free to wear something tartan.
