THOMSON After 101 years of laughter and singing, it is with great sadness that Bette and Joyce have to announce that their dear dad, Ian Roy Thomson, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019, and is now with his beloved wife Ray. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, great-granddaughters, great-grandson, great-great-grandson, friends and neighbours. A service to celebrate Ian's life will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 11.30 a.m., in Emslie S. Collier's Chapel of Rest, Broomfield Road, Montrose, thereafter to Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim at 12.30 p.m., to which all friends are most welcome. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be given in aid of Muscular Dystrophy and Ward 2, Stracathro Hospital.
