BROWN (Stonehaven) Suddenly, but peacefully, at Edenholme Care Home, on Friday, June 5, 2020, Janice Louise (Jan), aged 77 years, passed away after a long battle with dementia, borne with courage and dignity. Beloved wife of the late Ian, loving mum of James, Euan, Kate and Sarah and cherished sister to Rick and Liz. Devoted grandmother of Archie, Ben, Isla, Sandy, James and Logan and a dear and respected relative and friend to many. Funeral Private due to present circumstances but local friends will be able to pay their respects in a socially distant manner as the hearse drives once around the Market Square in Stonehaven at 12:15 p.m., on Thursday, June 18, on its way to Baldarroch Crematorium at Crathes via the Slug Road. Friends and overseas relatives will be able to attend the service at 1 p.m., that day via an internet webstream (details tbc). The family have kindly requested no flowers be sent but instead please consider a donation to Alzheimer Scotland (Action on Dementia). Many thanks to all nursing staff at Edenholme.
