FORSYTH Peacefully, at Roxburghe House, Dundee, on Saturday, June 20, 2020, Alfred (Alfie), beloved husband of Irene, much loved father of Alfie and Karen, also father-in-law to Gail and Bruce, loving grandad to Toni, Bradley, Keris and Varrie, very proud great-grandad to Leila, caring brother to Helen, Isobel, and the late Nan and Billy, loving son of the late John and Edith, also respected uncle and friend to many. Funeral service private due to current restrictions, no flowers please.

Gonna miss you uncle Alfie used to luv going to your house right from when I was wee my granny would take me then in my teens I used to come visit at the new year with my pals then when I moved to England I used to come back and visit with the kids and you and aunty Irene made us all welcome with loads of grub on the table and bottles of juice and also keeping up my supply of aromatics xx RIP xx

My condolences go out to my fantastic uncle Alfie who I will miss so dearly . He was a top guy and always made me feel welcome when I Simon visited him with my mother ( Isabel ) from Carlisle England .
He must have made the best Scottish cooked breakfast to perfection when I stayed there and I have never tasted another like it.
Had a great millennium up there with him and his family even though I went missing for two days sampling the generosity of the Dundonian people getting me legless.
I also remember the days when he visited us when I was a child he used to take me Alfie and Karen to a place called Silloth and Allonby on the west coast of Cumbria in his blue rover 2000 with the windows down with our hair blowing everywhere in the back and giggling all the way . He always wanted kids to enjoy themselves and have fun .
The memories i had with this great guy will never be forgotten.
