CARLIN It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the death of Peter Carlin Junior, in Australia, on Sunday, September 27, 2020, in the presence of his family, both home and abroad, he was the beloved son of Peter and the late Wilma Carlin and cherished big brother of Lesley. Pete travelled the world with his life partner and soul mate Michelle, their adored daughter, Stacey and her partner Mark, making friends and memories wherever they went; the four musketeers forever. Pete was also a much loved uncle and inspiration to Alex, Keir and Max, Emma, Rae and Billy, son-in-law to Pat and the late Bill Collins and a great-uncle, nephew, cousin, son-in-law, brother -in-law and friend to so many. He leaves behind a wealth of love and memories, so precious to us all. Like a glittering prize, I'll see you up on a clear day, Pete. Memories, burning gold memories. Saor Alba.

Over the years I've thought of Peter and tried to find him on social media. He gave me an opportunity that has I genuinely think has taken my life in a different direction. Always looked up to him. I related to his passion for music and always thought he was a really good bloke. The first time I met him was when he interviewed me and looking back, he really went out of his way to make me feel at ease. Really sad to discover he has passed. My condolences to his family.

Pete was such a special person to countless people. I was privileged to know Pete for 8 years and in that time saw Pete as a mentor, roll model, and true friend. Not a day has gone past when I’m not reminded of him and hurt by his passing.
I’m so sorry Michelle and Stace I couldn’t help you move I just couldn’t bring myself to face either of you.
Pete I’ll miss you buddy.
