BAIRSTOW Peacefully, in the tender care of Ninewells Hospital and all the staff, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Dennis Bairstow, Black Watch Veteran, fought his last battle with courage and dignity and even managed a bit of humour to the end, adored husband to Cathie, cherished dad to Russell, Allison, Andrew and the late Julie, Janine and partners, awesome grandad and great-grandad, uncle and treasured friend to all who knew him. Due to the difficult circumstances, a private funeral to be arranged. No flowers, please, but if you would care to make a kind donation to Cystic Fibrosis, which is a special charity close to our family's hearts.
