MACKIE Peacefully, at home in St Andrews, on Friday, February 12, 2021, John Burns Mackie M.Sc., in his 81st year, beloved husband of Nancy, dearly loved dad of Fiona and Colin, dear grandad of Adam and Lisa, father-in-law of Catherine and brother of Tam and the late Jim. Due to the current restrictions the funeral will be private. For anyone wishing to pay their last respects, the cortege will leave the family home on Tuesday, March 2, at 1.10 p.m., and will travel down the Canongate, passing the St Andrews Golf Club before making their way to the cemetery. Donations in memory of John, if so desired, may be sent directly to Dementia U.K.
