Since owning Innerdownie Cottage,up the hill from Pathfoot, in the 1980s, Willie & Nancy proved helpful and friendly to the extent that we kept in touch over the years on our annual trip to Perthshire when we always spent some time at Pathfoot Cottage. Latterly after Willie passed on we enjoyed our lunches with Nancy at the Kirkstyle Hotel, Dunning. Since Covid our visits have been restricted and it was when we tried to contact Nancy recently that we eventually found that she had sadly passed on. Nancy was a warm generous and thoughtful person who will be greatly missed: we always looked forward to seeing her, who will be greatly missed. She was extremely kind even to our Labrador who was fed an increasing number of biscuits to his great satisfaction. Robin & Ann Shaw

I met David Nancy and Willie in 1974, I lived just up the hill in the white cottage. Even after I returned to London in 1975 and then left to live in the Netherlands we still kept in contact. We spent many hours on the phone and visited as often as we could with my wife and family. We only spoke on the phone a few weeks before you passed away. I shall miss the conversations, the Scotland calanders we sent to eachother every year. Always a nice reminder of Nancy and the wonderfull times we had.

We mind to our last visit with "auntie" Nancy at her lovely and cosy home in 2018. She looked after us and everyone else who was around with her (cat Topsy and the birds in her garden) with her big, lovely heart. I felt welcome in Willie's and her home like I ever did when I was up there in my childhood. We will keep her in our hearts. Petra, granddaughter of Mrs. Amy Hunter (Kinross) and husband Frank, Germany.
