VASS Suddenly, at home, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Teresa (nee Sklepkowicz), of Tayport, aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Alistair, much loved mother of Nicholas, Maria, James, Anna, Jan and Katherine, proud gran and great gran, a dear sister, aunt and friend. RIP. Teresa's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, April 8, however, will be private due to ongoing restrictions. No flowers, please, but donations, in lieu, to Tayport Charity Shop can be made in Teresa's memory and sent to Gibson of Tayport Funeral Directors, 6 Castle Road, Tayport, DD6 9AN.

Teresa - an Inspiration.

Although only knowing Teresa over the last 9 years, she made a lasting impression upon me. We were neighbours for 3 years only, until I moved to Perthshire. It was important to me, however, to visit and keep in touch regularly, as I enjoyed her company, her sense of adventure, plus her sense of humour. As time went by, and getting to know her more, I found her life experiences very interesting. Her independent spirit, self belief, common sense and very caring nature, especially for children shall remain with me. Not realizing whilst knowing her, but thinking of her now, she became to me someone as a substitute mother, having lost my own 30 years ago. I'd had several challenging life experiences, which she , unknowingly, gave her wise counsel with positive effect. Teresa shall be missed by me and many others. Rest in Peace "old" friend. Celia.
