JOHNSTONE David thanks all who, whether by card, letter, telephone call or in person, have expressed their deepest sympathy, for their love and support of him on the loss of his most dearly-loved and ever-loving wife and help-meet of 55 years, after a long struggle with C.O.P.D., and shortness of oxygen in the blood-stream. He knows she is at peace now, united with their dearest son, Iain, in God's great family of love, to be separated no more and with whom, in his good time, he too will be re-united; he thanks also Billy and his team at undertakers James McEwan and Son, not only for their faultless services, but also for their help and guidance through the intricacies of all the "official stuff" having to be done by telephone or online; thanks are due also to Pat Munro D.C.S., and the Rev. Graham Crawford for their uplifting and encouraging words at Perth Crematorium and their help at a personal level at many times over the last few months. Finally, he places on record, that without the boundless help and support of two neighbouring families, the Deja family, Beata, Olivia and Jarek, and Sadia and Khalid Khurshid, he could not have got through the last few years as well as is the case.
