CAIRNS On Thursday, July 15, 2021, George passed away, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his devoted wife and family, dearly beloved husband of Ellen, loving father to Jacqueline, George, John and Mark, father-in-law to Rob, greatest grandad, great-grandfather and "pops", loving brother-in-law, uncle and great friend to many. Private funeral service followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery, on Thursday, July 29, at 2 p.m., to which all are invited. Donations, if desired, may be made in George's memory at the service or directly to Marie Curie.
