McBRIDE Peacefully, at home, in Forfar, on Thursday, July 22, 2021, John "Jake" Adams McBride, aged 84 years (formerly of North Draffin, Letham), beloved husband of Norma (nee Dillon), for almost 60 years, proud father of Iain, Roy and Barry, cherished father-in-law of Margaret and Isobel, loving grandfather to Alasdair, William, Eve, Eleanor and Sofia, devoted brother to Mina and Helen and a good friend to many. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 12.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are invited, and thereafter to the Invercarse Hotel. Family flowers only, please, but donations in lieu will be gratefully accepted for Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie nurses.
