ERSKINE John Erskine, of School Road, Balmullo, aged 81, passed away, on August 31, 2021, at Ninewells, dearly loved husband of Evelyn (nee Keay), devoted brother of Lucy and the late Jim, Cath, Morgan and Margaret (John was born in Smithy House, Leuchars, and for many years the family lived at View Bank, Main Street, Leuchars, highly skilled at carpentry and all aspects of joinery, John was well known in St Andrews during his 50 years with Andrew Thom Joinery), a wonderful brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle and steadfast friend and neighbour, he will be both sorely missed and remembered with great affection. The funeral service and celebration of John's life will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Dundee Crematorium, at 11.30 a.m., to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if desired, may be made at the house or service and Evelyn will donate these to Tayside Health Fund for the benefit of the Stroke Unit, Ninewells.
