THOMPSON Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving and dedicated care team, on Saturday, September 4, 2021, Alastair Milne Thompson, aged 61 years (formerly of D.P.& L. Shipping), dearly loved and loving son of the late Ron and Mima (nee Milne) Thompson, and a much loved nephew and cousin. Funeral service in the service room of Sturrock Comb & Davidson, 102 St.Vincent Street, Broughty Ferry, on Tuesday, September 21, at 1 p.m., to which all relatives and friends are most welcome. Family flowers only, please.

I remember attending the Mackinnon Centre in Broughty Ferry in the assisted living kitchen. Alastair loved making his curry with the help of Andrew (the skills officer) with other staff members, or as I should say, friends popping in and out to join in the gay repartee. Topics of converstion would cover everything from the previous nights telly to the politics of the day. You will be sadly missed Alastair. Andrew Howie
